Welcome to the practice of Robert DiCarlo, PhD
Dr. Robert DiCarlo is a licensed psychologist in Arizona specializing in forensic family court work. He is also a credentialed telepsychology practitioner member of PSYPACT, an interjurisdictional agreement enabling psychotherapy by video or telephone in a number of states.
Dr. DiCarlo has special training and experience helping families navigate the complexities of family court involvement. He serves in both evaluative and therapeutic roles, as well as providing expert testimony in most areas related to custody issues.
Dr. DiCarlo’s therapy practice is especially focused on issues surrounding parent-child contact problems and resist/refuse dynamics. If you have a child who is struggling in a relationship with the other parent or caregiver, you may wish to consider having Dr. DiCarlo appointed by your judge.
General Announcements
Are you separated or divorced? Do you have a child aged 9-12? If yes, you might be eligible to participate in an ASU research project! The project is testing new online games designed to help children cope with the emotional impact of parental separation and divorce! You will be asked to fill out a survey and then meet with a research team member to determine eligibility. If eligible, your child will play 1-4 online games to learn coping skills. You and your child will be asked to do surveys, phone calls, and daily reports for six weeks. You will both receive electronic gift cards, and your child will receive prizes throughout the project.
