COVID-19 Office Policies and Protocols.
Our office is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of clients, visitors, and the community at large. Information is constantly changing about the transmissibility, severity, and sort and longterm outcomes associated with COVID-19 and related infections. Office and visitor policies are developed and modified based on health and safety taking the highest priority. Although your provider is vaccinated, the policies and practices outlined below take into account the health needs of all families and the community. For clients who participate in person, the following polices are in effect (updated 8/3/23):
During periods of heightened transmission: No less then 24 hours before any in-office service, one adult or guardian from each household must complete a health screening questionnaire. The office assistant will send the form to our email address on file no less than 48 hours before your scheduled in-office visit. Failure to complete the the form 24 hours in advance of the session will result in the session being postponed, or in some cases, converted to a video (“telepsychology”) session.
During periods of heightened transmission: All clients and visitors must wear facial coverings throughout their in-person office visit, regardless of vaccination status. Disposable masks will be available in the event you forget a mask. All other times: facial coverings are optional.
It is the client’s responsibility to reschedule any in-office visit if a known or suspected COVID encounter occurs. An encounter is defined by any of the following:
You or someone in your household had significant exposure to a someone who tested positive for COVID in the last 14 days.
You or someone in your household tested positive for COVID in the last 14 days.
You or someone in your household has experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days.
Your provider may postpone or reschedule your in-office visit at any time to reduce the likelihood of spreading infectious diseases.
Policies and procedures will be revisited on a week-to-week basis, including office closures. Please check back regularly for updates and information about how your services may be impacted.
